Role

OVERVIEW
IASG, a fishing museum for children that tells the story of the Scottish fishing industry, its boats, harbours and communities. Visitors will be able to explore fascinating range of historic buildings, boats and displays, see boatbuilders at work, take the helm in a wheelhouse, find a welcome in a fisherman's cottage and discover how fishermen and women, craftsmen and engineers have all worked together to bring us our fish - from sea to supper.

BRIEF & CONCEPT
They wanted an interesting and playful brand identity for a kids fishing museum. It should be fun, engaging, interesting and should be able to fit
within the museum's playgrounds.

I was exploring maps from the British fish routes/network and used rice paper
to copy and place the map on top of "IASG" text. When map lines were overlapping the text, I was removing that area and was able to create gaps within my characters. At the end I created a customised version of "Sansation" typeface which is IASG's logo typeface.
